13 modern home design trends that are extremely terrible according to gen z

According to the gen z, just because something is popular does not mean that everything is The Great. We recently wrote a contribution in which gen Z'ers shared the modern trends for house design that they actually cannot stand, and it started a big discussion. In the comments, younger generations mixed with more recent trends that have to go. Here is what you had to say:

1. “Rectangular sinks in the bathroom. They are as bad as socket. I want the room to put my stuff. My make -up, curling iron, hairbrush, whatever. These rectangular sinks are everywhere. They are just a trend -they go out of style.”
“And what will happen to all these people with rectangular sinks? They all want to replace them. And who benefits from it? ” – chillhededhog384″ square or rectangular sink. They are much more difficult to stay clean with all corners.“-Anonymous

– Anonymous, Texas

3. “I despise the white/light gray monochrome look – and boring minimalist furniture, which are all the same. My brother is a broker and advises to avoid this view of all costs. Bring colors and dews and patterned upholstery back.”
– JCS3D “Sad beige/gray everything. It makes the houses look like prisons and feels like the design -equivalent for static television.” – Anonymous

4. “I don't get an open shower. Doesn't the floor out of the shower get everything wet?!”

6. “I hate huge kitchens. They take up space that could be used for something else. Not to mention that they do not need all 28 cupboards and drawers. They are not a five-star restaurant, so they really only need about half of it. The rest is usually stacked with garbage. They are mostly white because it is too expensive to repaint it.

7. “These damn modern farmhouses! House Fippers take a historically accurate Victorian farmhouse and add exposed bars, recovered wood and vinyl floors until it looks like an Ikea showroom.”
