2 injuries in Calif. Food business roof collapse

Stopoo, California. – The clean -up work was in action on Tuesday morning on Tuesday morning in Oakdale after a roof section collapsed on Monday during the heavy rain in the product department.

Large garbage shoes were outside of the shop and were filled with rubble when several construction workers started pulling large pieces of wood.

Read signs on the doors “temporarily closed” and “Sorry for the inconvenience. Please try our Riverbank situation.” Apparently, a few buyers didn't know what happened on Monday because they had parked, went to the loading to turn over after the damage.

A buyer said she was in the shop at 1:30 p.m. on Monday and noticed nothing unusual, but when the sky began to break with more intensive weather. She returned on Tuesday to see the damage.

Another buyer, Leo Robelero, didn't know what had happened when he arrived with his little son, but instead he would shop in the grocery store in the same shopping center.

According to the Modesto fire brigade, several units were sent at 2:25 p.m. on Monday after a call was entered due to a possible rescue that was updated to a technical rescue while the units were on the way.

Upon arrival, the crews found that a 25 times 25 foot section of the roof had collapsed in the right front part of the building.

The collapse broke the collapse. The crews secured the water from the sprinkler system after causing additional floods.

Buyers and employees were cleared from the area. Two people were brought to the Oak Valley Hospital with minor injuries.

The Oakdale police authority also replied and helped to secure the building with a thermal wheel to look for someone.

Firefighters and business staff ensured that the business was free before the scene was released to the shopkeeper and the inspector of the city buildings.

The business is closed while the crews clean up and fix the damage, but it is not yet known for how long. Costs of fewer food companies have not answered a request for comments.
