“It creates a kind of sweeping wash that envelops the room in warmth,” says Brittny Button, interior designer and founder of Button Atelier. “It's warm and inviting and incredibly timeless. Traditionally, whites can be interpreted as cold – this one has a built-in hug.” Here she mixed it with lime to give it more depth.

Button says it's a popular paint color for 2026 because it's a classic. “It has a universal appeal and feels extremely elevated. And it has a certain hardness to it,” she says. In this room, she mixed the paint with lime to give the walls more dimension.
