The assessment process for the If design Award 2025 It revolved around five essential criteria: idea, shape, function, differentiation and sustainability. On three dynamic days in scales 52 in Hamburg, experts checked the finalists carefully. This phase followed the online pre -selection in December, where almost 11,000 entries were assessed, with only the top 50 percent in the final jury round.
Products, projects and concepts in nine different disciplines can occur in the IF design Award 2025: product, communication, packaging and service design, architecture and interior design, user experience (UX), user interface (UI) and professional concept.
A celebration of future perspectives
Just like in previous years, each entry was subjected to a thorough assessment and a lively discussion. Each product and project was carefully examined by a body of three design experts. A remarkable highlight was the seamless cooperation between the jurors and the IF Sustainability working group to ensure that ecological and social sustainability played a central role in the decision -making process. This partnership enabled a more well -founded and comprehensive assessment of any submission.
