He insults his students as well as he tells them a joke. He is both strictly and imitated Beyoncé. It is eccentric, but also methodological and strict. Is he the “worst teacher in the world”?
It all begins when a teacher arrives to give a class about Carolina Beatriz ângelo, a doctor and the first woman to vote in Portugal in 1911 in the elections for the national assembly of the national constituents.
This is the motto for the new piece by João de Brito and “his” Lama, which has its premiere on March 17th in the Cinetea Louleano. The idea, he confesses, had followed him for a long time.

“We talk a lot about teachers, about the influence they have on our lives. And that's a fact, ”he says.
For about 40 minutes – the length of the show – finally, João de Brito wants to demystify what a good teacher is. What properties should he or she have (or not).
For this purpose there will be a single teacher on stage (played by João himself), who will “change the personality”. Sometimes he is the eccentric and friendly teacher, sometimes the methodical, sometimes the rigor.
This is a teacher who believes in tests like in cheat sheets. Who demands as much silence as he speaks to a plant. And who changes his wig again and again.
There is another central topic throughout the piece.
“We also want to talk about the importance of coordination and democracy. And that's why there are three women who “cross” the entire piece: Carolina Beatriz ângelo, Ana Castro Osório and Adelaide Cabete. “All of them are feminists and founders of the Portuguese Republican women's league.
In the end, all students are invited to vote for the kind of teacher who liked them the most with the right to debate.
For the time being, this is only a piece that is only intended for schools with school meetings. The first three on March 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th will be in Loulé, but there are already data across the country – and also abroad.
The letter was made by three people: João de Brito, Comedian Hugo van der Ding and Diana Costa e Silva. Always looking for the answer: is that “the worst teacher in the world”?
