The Philadelphia Flower Show, sponsored by the Philadelphia Horticultural Society (PHS), which was found in the Pennsylvania Convention Center from March 1 to 9, was discussed as “Garden of Tomorrow”.

As a signature Gardening Show of the nation for almost 200 years, the flower exhibition is drawing visitors and exhibitors from all over the region and beyond. This year the Philadelphia candidates ended strongly and took home the medals of phs gold, silver and bronze.

The Ambler and Philadelphia locations of Temple University were recognized for their educational exhibition “Considerations for regeneration: an artistic reaction to our changing environment”. Junior Landscape Architecture Majors Sophia Downs and Justin Border, from Temple's Ambler Campus, shared their overview of their attitude to “Garden of Tomorrow”. Instead of achieving a more futuristic approach, the students of the temple focused on using the resources already available.
Their exhibition was built exclusively from local plants and materials that were either found on the AMBLER campus and were donated by local companies or materials that were reused from previous flower exhibitions. These students focused on a morning with common resources that are equally available to everyone.
Temple's “Reflections on Regeneration” was awarded the PHS gold medal, the Alfred M. Campbell Memorial Trophy and the Bulkeley medal.

The PHS silver medal was awarded to the WB Saul High School in Roxborough. Lucia Raboteau, Saul's class from 2026, worked together with around 100 of her classmates in the Saul horticultural program to create her playful entry entitled “Modularity”. This exhibition was brought to life for life in a creative and immersive learning room, which imagines in urban environments. Raboteau said: “Experience was exhausting for me and is fun. What it meant for me – being in a team and creating something we were proud of. “

The PHS bronze medal was awarded to the florist Bloom Bold Co. based in West Philly. In her entry “A Matter of Time” a deconstructed clock was contained and invited the audience to take into account the balance between the time, which has passed and accelerates the time and accelerates growth. This year's maker market was made by Tonya Mason von Masonmade with the curated. The maker market offered packages for providers from three days to 10 days. Mason's intention was to help small local companies who want to expand their sales and exposure. This flexible approach contributed to supporting minor operations that may be new to the sales event at large public events or that may not have the money in order to commit itself to a stand in the “marketplace” section of the flower exhibition.

Other local companies that were found on the maker market were Vellum Street (tallow base soaps and body care products) and Stitch prism (prints and jewelry, handmade with care in the southwest of Philly).
