The Disneyland version of “It's a Small World” was closed in January 2025 for some larger renovations than the usual removal of their holiday surplus. Disney later announced that the attraction will be debut a new verse of the classic song “It's a Small World” on Disneyland as a tribute to the Sherman Brothers and new dolls from the Pixar film “Coco” in the Mexico scene.

Since our last building update, all construction walls have been removed around the main attraction facade.

The water in the boat path for the attraction was refilled at its usual operating levels, although it looks lower due to the lack of the boats. There are no significant changes to the facade or the nearby queue.

The facade seems to have been bound in places and the color looks fresh again. The animation on the front of the building, including the small tips and rotating ornaments, was not in operation from April 27th. However, these should work again in the next few days.

As with most renovated sidewalks around this section of Fantasyland, the bricks that are closest to the gardens were exchanged with the new, darker bricks.

The bridges and sidewalks, all lead to the queue of the attraction, are blocked with white ropes and signs, which with the inscription “Our musical journey will resume again this spring.”

The walls were also removed from the side “It is a small world”, so that the extended queue of the attraction is visible again.

The walls and construction tools were removed from the queue on the side that is closest to the loading area.

The sidewalk by the queue is not covered by the bricks that were used on the rest of the guest path so that this section was not replaced.

At the end of the street, the parade goal “It is a small world” is also visible.

The parade goal was redesigned and redesigned, so that it looks more colorful and more detailed than at the end of last year.
While all walls were removed around the facade, there are still some construction walls in the area of the small world near the toilets. The brick replacement work in this section is still completed, so that these walls stay longer for a while. The fantasyland's popcorn car has not yet withdrawn on the other side of the sidewalk.
The end date for the renovation “It is a small world” was recently relocated to May 8th, which points out that the attraction will probably be reopened on May 9th.
