Troy Maxson was a star of the Negro baseball league, but now it is in 1957 and he is a garbage man in Pittsburgh. In one of August Wilson's best and best -known pieces, we see a man with disappointment and the effects on his marriage and his relationship with his sons. This powerful piece with the Pulitzer Prize is both epic and intimate and a must in the theater.
