The Sooke Garden Club will meet next May 28th in the St. Rose Catholic Church of Lima
A discouraging task can appear to have a landscape disc for growing food. Depending on your space, size and location, you show what is possible for both the provision of pollinators and for an environment for grocery stores.
It is so easy to have someone with a background in landscape design to lead them, or if you let your own creative instincts go where you may be able to get started.
The May spokesman for the Sooke Garden Club, Joshua Clae Wagler, is the founder of edible landscapes Design Ltd., who grew up in a family of farmers, gourmets and nature lovers. He is based in Victoria and heads his team by creating edible ecosystems that regenerate the country and feed future generations.
“In recent years, our fragile food supply chain has been made significant challenges, from pandemics to climate -oriented disasters such as floods and fires,” said Wagler. “These disorders have triggered an increase in local food interest and at the same time provided unique garden productions. Whether they live in an apartment or in an acreage, their surroundings are full of potential.”
