Roofing companies in the Ozarks, which were struck with estimates and repair calls

Springfield, Mo (Ky3) – It was quite a year for roofers, starting with winter ice and heavy spring storms.

Cole Pruente, an estimator with an absolute roof, can in particular determine an event that began the company's months -long behind the company in jobs.

“This March 14th turned through South Ozark in Highlandville, which it really turned off,” said Pruente. “They had a big hail of golf ball size down there. This is really the only big hail that we saw this spring.”

According to Pruente, the strong winds from storms of storms from March 14 to Easter Sunday until April 29 have made the phones ring the bell for repairs and exchange of roofs. This certainly applies to a homeowner in Nixa after a weak tornado near his office had passed on the morning of April 29.

“He immediately came home after this had happened to make sure everything was good,” said Pruente. “He only assumed that he had got it here. He said that he had his trash can in the entrance and hadn't even blown it out.”

Despite the deficit, the homeowner called for help and was able to get an inspector out after checking himself for damage. One of the roofs only has a missing shingle and maybe a few dented roof openings. Otherwise, after the storms at the end of April, this roof was in shape. Experts encourage homeowners to contact roof and insurance companies if they are damaged, even if they recently had a roof replacement.

“All new damage that would require a complete roof estimate will have a new loss date this year,” said Pruente. “This insurance would still be obliged to cover this as long as the damage is big enough to require a complete roof replacement.”

Pruente calls on the homeowners to compare roofing companies and to search for registration after the start of work.

“Call several companies and receive them, you know, several opinions and assess them together,” said Pruente. “Take a look at the company. See how long you are in the business and how long you live in the community. That will tell you a lot about who you get out of there and how to guide your company.”
