The Osu extension of Oklahoma County, the Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts, the OKC Beautiful and other partners of the community will organize the second annual sustainable Urban Landscape conference from June 27th to 28th.

The two -day event offers nationally recognized author and local national park founder Doug Tallamy as the main speaker. The participants can choose from more than 20 sessions that focus on sustainable landscape design practices in order to create beautiful, advantageous green spaces that adapt to climate change.

The session topics include “attracting advantageous insects”, “Regengarten and Bioswale design”, “The beauty and the benefits of native of Oklahoma” and more.

The conference is intended to inspire both residents and experts to promote environmentally friendly landscapes that support biological diversity and resilience.
