Portland, Ore.-a planned project for the construction of Rod Iron Black Foncing in a section SW Portland near the I-405 has started. Odot & Pbot are part of the joint effort to replace temporary chain connection fence with permanent fences.

The project costs almost 900,000 US dollars only for the materials and installation. There will also be an ongoing maintenance.

The fences along the Southwest 13th Avenue between the streets of the Main and the Alder and near the Autobahn I-405 will open part of a homeless warehouse called Block 13 for years.

The city and state authorities install the fence because both the people living there and for traffic were classified as unsafe. Camping on the State Highway Court is illegal.
