Modern duplex, which is intended for USD Site $ 2.3 million

A dilapidated brick house that has stood for more than six decades could be demolished to make room for a new development.

An application was submitted with the NOOSA council to renovate a location near the noosa river with a contemporary duplex.

The 666 square meter property in George Street in George Street in Noosaville was last sold in September 2023 for more than 2.32 million dollars.

The development application submitted on behalf of 20 Williams St Development Pty LTD tries to tear down the existing two -story house with three bedrooms.

It suggests building a double occupancy with living rooms, garages and a pool on the ground floor and three bedrooms on the upper level of each town house.

As part of the application, a lot in three for the Community title should also be reconsidered.

In a planning report submitted by Pivotal perspective, it was explained that the development design would have an “attractive built form” in order to contribute positively to the surrounding development in George Street.

“The design contains a mixture of materials to expand the visual interest in accordance with the requirements of the code with medium density in residential areas,” says the report.

“This is achieved by variations in the (front) front facade and the five degree pitch roof shape as well as through the use of wood and steamed ambient colors.

“The facade is well articulated and includes vertical and horizontal elements.”

According to the report, some trees have to be removed to make room for the duplex.

“The proposal tries to extinguish the two large existing trees on the premises, including the 8 -M melaluca in the back of the site … and a 20 -m blue chewing gum on the front,” it says.

A associated operational work permit for landscaping, access, parking spaces, earthworks and rainwater was also submitted as part of the application.
