New regulations to prevent children from drowning in Houses in Quebec will come into force on September 30th. Homeowners are obliged to build a closed fence to build their pools.
Per report by CityNewsThe fences must be at least 1.2 m (3.9 feet) for the outdoor and semi-area pools. Less than 1.4 m (4.5 feet) must also have a fence about pre -ground pools. In addition, the gates on the fences have to block themselves and close themselves, and the fences themselves have to be designed so that they cannot be climbed.
The new provincial regulation to install a fence is part of Quebecs Law on the safety of the Pool housing care.
