VSL Renewable Services won the O&M contract (O&M) for 810 MWP from NTPC Green Energy (NGEL) 1,864 MW Solar Power Projects in Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.
The O&M will be for a period of 36 months.

VSL was the lowest bidder for LOT 1 (1,054 MWP) and Los 2 (810 MWP). According to NTPC's tenders, only Lot 2 was awarded to the company.
The project will use artificial intelligence and the Internet of the actual platforms for the detection of anomaly, performance optimization and predictive diagnosis for the O&M of these projects.
VSL must ensure consistent energy performance with contractual performance guarantees.
The company has developed state -specific strategies for O&M. In Rajasthan, VSL will provide dust reduction and heat management solutions in dry zones. In Madhya Pradesh, grid synchronization and the end-specific O&M services are ensured. Corrosion control and the planning of coastal resilience for Andhra Pradesh will also include.
VSL has to take care of string failures every day, restore inverter extinguishing and react to all breakdowns/triggering. The system must also restore the system in a minimum possible time.
According to the tender, the successful bidder has to fulfill the control room around the clock.
VSL also has to submit regular reports on the energy generation and the operating status of the solar projects and their associated devices.
The contract also includes the cleaning of drains, cable trenches and boxing.
It must also contain an annual maintenance contract, replacement contract and an operating level for components such as battery charger, uninterrupted power supply and power supply packs to ensure the availability of critical devices.
VSL must carry out annual tests of all replacement devices and connection devices and ensure at least 18 module cleaning cycles annually.
In July 2025, NGEL invited offers for the O&M of a 160 -MW solar project in Jetstar, Rajasthan, for two months.
In the same month, NGEL invited offers in Rajasthan for the comprehensive O&M of the 250 MW Shimbhu Ki Bhurj-I solar project.
