The new units on the corner of the children's tone Street and the Brooks Lane, opposite the Head Pub of the Ebers, will replace a single unit in which the original factory business was housed by June.
Cheshire East planner received an application for “minor changes to an existing retail unit” on Thursday, July 10, including “a reduction in the floor area, the creation of four different units, new shop fronts, roof coverage, retaining wall”.
The developer Monktondean Properties suggests the four new units with a combination of what they refer to as “food-on-the-go outlets” and retail company.
In the planning application approved on Wednesday, September 17th, it says: “Before the regeneration of the residential administration of Brooks Lane of around 200 houses, local retail facilities will be provided.”
The design and access declaration for the project produced by the HLB Architecture states: “Monktadean real estate acquired the 1,000 m² retail business in April 2025, and since then the tenant has left the building that has it free and free.
