Chhattisgarh is becoming a major industrial hub for India and more and more companies are looking for clean energy options. This new initiative aims to support local business owners and larger companies with high electricity needs and help them easily switch to sustainable energy.

As part of the campaign, customers can receive special financing offers. These include low interest rates starting at 7.35 percent, no processing fees and loans that do not require a property as security.

To raise awareness, the company will host workshops, partner with local organizations and meet directly with business owners in major cities across the state.

Recent rule changes by the state government have also made it easier for industries to opt for renewable energy. These changes simplify the process and support cleaner energy options.

The company plans to install a large number of new rooftop solar systems across the country over the next three years.

In Chhattisgarh, the company has already set up rooftop solar systems capable of generating 252 megawatts of electricity. The majority of it supplies businesses, while some goes to private households. This financial year in particular, the company has created significant new solar capacity for companies and households. The company plans to significantly expand its solar systems in the state over the next three years.

Tata Power Renewables has already completed several large solar projects in Chhattisgarh. These include a large solar and battery storage facility in Rajnandgaon, a 30-megawatt solar facility in Badbhoom and Mundgaon, and 100 small solar networks that provided power to remote villages.
