Visitors entering the park will encounter a Central Forum Square, which leads to an 825 square meter cultural forum. This facility houses a library, a music room, an art room, toilets and a prayer room. In addition, there is a Social Forum building that includes a cafe, fitness center, restrooms, and another prayer room. Both venues have been updated with the latest decor, creating inviting spaces for community interaction.
The park features a lively plaza illuminated with lights, a charming petting farm and a variety of games, adventure activities and entertainment options. Its attractions include an interactive fountain and a central water resource, as well as several leisure areas, including a soccer field, a basketball court, a padel court and three expansive play zones for children, covering more than a thousand square meters. These areas are equipped with shaded umbrellas with cooling fans as well as a designated fitness area.
The park's unique elements include a lagoon over 3,000 square meters with a decorative bridge and attractive installations, all overlooking an outdoor theater designed for events, with a capacity of 300 people in a space of more than 1,000 square meters.
The department also managed all IT installations, hill formations, garden gate construction, electrical and gas works, fire suppression systems, irrigation systems and installation of identification plates for the main entrance and surveillance cameras.
The park features a rubber jogging track that surrounds the area alongside a dedicated cycling track.
In line with this initiative, the department has successfully completed the construction of Al Suyoh Park for Women in Al Riqaibah 4, which is part of Sharjah's development plan to build a global network of age-friendly and child-friendly cities.
The park covers an impressive 151,000 square meters and features a 1,360-meter-long running track that is 3 meters wide to ensure ample space for joggers. To improve privacy for women, decorative fences 7 meters high were installed.
Upon entering the park, visitors will find an inviting forum plaza and an art platform that houses an 825 square meter cultural forum building. This facility includes a library, music room, art room, bathrooms and prayer area. In addition, a Social Forum building has a cafe and a fitness hall equipped with a hot tub, a sauna room and the necessary facilities, all equipped with modern decor and furniture.
Al Suyoh Park also offers a padel court, a multi-purpose court, three children's play areas and a designated barbecue zone.
Visitors can enjoy three fountains, two of which are interactive, along with an event theater overlooking a tranquil lagoon.
The parks maintain lush green spaces and respect the native desert landscape and enhance the natural beauty of the surrounding area. This includes 30 trees in Al Suyoh General Park and 47 trees in Al Suyoh Park for Women, making the area a perfect place for family outings and barbecues.
These parks provide residents with excellent jogging and cycling opportunities and promote a healthier, more active lifestyle. These efforts are part of a broader plan designed by the department to build sports tracks across the emirate to achieve several strategic objectives, including improving sports facilities for residents and fostering a sense of community within the city. Additionally, they support the department's commitment to providing engaging options that encourage Sharjah residents to pursue their interests. Sharjah's Public Works Department works closely with relevant government agencies to implement, design and evaluate various projects in residential areas, including the creation of new parks. These initiatives are an integral part of the department's development plans and align with its strategic vision to enhance important recreational spaces for the community.
