Allbirds starts 19 colors of his Wollkreuzer sneaker with Pantone

Allbirds immerses his toes with a new selection of its woolen cruiser model in color.

The shoe company offers a complete spectrum of 19 colors in the sneaker in the courtyard style.

And to cross the color of the color one step further, Allbirds have teamed up with the Pantone Color Institute to curate a pallet of five exclusive colors. These collaborative colors include sapphire blue, pikestary lemons, golden sunshine, lively flowers and granite gray.

As for the shoe itself, the upper material is made from a recycling process made of wool, in which knitting goods are used after consumer and mixed with recycled polyester. The company found that the shoe also has a double-densely padded memory foam insist as well as wool harm formation and a wool fodder.

Adrian Nyman, Chief Design Officer at Allbirds, told FN that this project was part of the company's efforts to reset some of his designers.

“We wanted to create something that served as a beautiful canvas for color,” said Nyman. “And of course, when we thought about who the color authority was, Pantone was our first choice. When we brought up on this new chapter of Allbirds and brought this really courageous, powerful color spectrum with them, it simply felt like a really natural seizure to work with pantons to celebrate the beauty of natural color.”

Nyman added that Allbirds wanted to emulate the color wheel with its width of options. “The idea was to have a number of colors that enable our customers to express themselves,” said the shoe manager. “Color is a great way for people to communicate the world as they feel. One day they can wear bright colors when they feel happy while darker colors convey a different message. So there is a shoe for everyone who loves.”

Laurie Pressman, Vice President at the Pantone Color Institute, repeated this feeling. “We thought that the partnership with Allbirds was a great marriage and a great way to be able to introduce your customers into the color,” pressman told FN. “We love the fact that Allbird's color uses to strengthen your customer's self -expression. So we made ourselves more than happy to work together on this project.”

Pressman added that Pantone's goal was to tell a rounded color history and use various “personas”.

“Regardless of whether you have framed our color selection from different archetypes as a connoisseur or a mental or a minimalist or someone who wants to make a courageous statement,” remarked Pressman. “We worked this together to look at what happens in trends, look at the color psychology and what would be resonance with the target group of Allbirds.”

Ultimately, however, this project is really about allbirds – which has questioned its annual guidance in the future and has recently reduced. “We have this publication as how can Allbirds be a little of the antidote against a kind of ordinary world,” added Nyman. So we really return to our roots to be a little more disturbing and exciting. “

The Wool Cruiser, which is sold for $ 100, will be available online and in selected shops from September 9th.
