Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC), launched in 1925, supervises the protection and management of the longest footpath of the world's longest hiking trail, the Appalachian Trail.
The ATC invites applications for the competitive action fund 2025 managed by ATC, which supports the mission of the Appalachian Trail Landscape Partnership -to combine the wild, landscape and cultural miracles of AT landscape. The fund offers organizations and cooperation projects privately, flexible financial support that promotes the protection and preservation of natural, cultural, historical, landscape, landscape, leisure, agricultural and community resources in the AT landscape.
For qualified land protection, nature conservation planning or resilience projects, up to $ 400,000 are granted. Land protection inquiries are limited to $ 75,000, and nature conservation planning and resilience inquiries from the community are limited to individual year inquiries that can be between $ 5,000 and $ 20,000. The ATC added the new category of resilience and restoration of the community for the cycle 2025 to support areas affected by Hurricane Helene, thanks to the support of donors at the ATCS at Resiliency Fund.
The authorized applicants include local, state and tribal governments or agencies and qualified 501 (C) (3) non -profit organizations. The applicant's project should take place within the landscape in the landscape, the needs of or expressly benefit.
