When a busy family attended friends in their holiday home in a quiet, closed community at the western end of 30a in Santa Rosa Beach, they began to dream of owning their own piece of paradise.
So when a house in New Construction came onto the market, the family took the opportunity. “We love the area,” say the homeowners. “We fell into love into the calm family of the family.”
In 2025, the family bought the almost 4,000 square meter house with five bedrooms and five and a half bathing rooms as a private short vacation for their family of five and as an investment property. “The house was brand new and brand new for us,” say the homeowners.
The house is located in a closed enclave that is at the Draper Lake, and in a easy walking on the private beach, the house also has a pool, an outdoor kitchen, several balconies to use the breathtaking view of the beach, and access to three private beach stubborns, a community dock on the Draper Lake and a heated shared pool.
The house has hardwood floors, clean white walls and dozens of windows that flood the interior at any time of the day with natural light. The bright, open kitchen has an oversized island with a lot of seating and lots of worktop and cabinet surfaces. The kitchen flows into the most important dining area that opens to the central living area of the house. The simple, stylish living room offers oversized sofas for family meetings and French doors that open on the main veranda. Each of the five bedroom four King suites and a floor room with double-quality floors find your own bathroom for guest comfort and convenience. There are central living rooms and balconies on each floor, and the house has an elevator to access to the upper floors.
When it was time to design the interiors of their new home, the homeowners turned to a familiar company that they could trust – Twin Interiors. “We used Twin Interiors to redesign our family home a year and a half ago,” say the homeowners. “We already had a good cooperation with the designer and society and knew that they could do what we wanted.”
Laurie Fulkerson, the interior designer of Twin Interiors, took over the management of the project and reached the wish of the homeowners for a cool, coastal feeling with plenty of space and simplicity. “We just wanted to keep it – we didn't want a lot of things,” they say. The design has coastal colors in various blue, gray and green tones against the background of white inner walls with high-end surfaces
In slim, simple styles. Fulkerson adds: “A successful interior of the coast is based on the balance between color and texture – natural materials, layered colors and the reluctance to shine simplicity.”
Before completing the sale on April 30, Fulkerson and her customers desperately worked to prepare the house for the busy summer rental period. With a two to three weeks to design everything, ordered and ready to do, Fulkerson made designs for every room and sent them to the homeowners for approval. “Laurie made the whole process so easy,” say the homeowners. “I don't think we said no about your suggestions. There were many simple Jessen.” And this type of cooperation is how Fulkerson likes to work. “When trust meets creativity, magic happens,” she says. “Work with customers who believe in the process that designs the design into something really extraordinary.”
Now the homeowners moved in and let themselves be made to make new family memories in their small piece of beach paradise. “Being down here and enjoying this house as a family is really a dream and such a blessing,” says the homeowner. “We all feel to relax, to breathe your breath from everyday life and really relax when we are here. To be a family together is an estimated time, and this is a special place to do that. We pray that this house will be a blessing for our family and many others in the coming years!”
