Michael Gilson's most recent book examines the most important development in the 20th British Gardening – The Suburban Garden. Long down, ignored or mocked or under the heights of the country house lawn. This was when millions of workers discovered the gardening and created around million new gardens. Michael focuses on Richard Sudell, the writer who advised you on what you should do with your actions and who then became a key figure in the post -war landscape architecture.
