One of the thinnest towers in the world – the Muraba veil …
You read that correctly. Dubai is ready to build another architectural miracle to expand the many existing ones on the skyline. The Muraba veil will be one of the thinnest residential towers in the world and along the Dubai water canal.
The building was wide as just one apartment and is 22.5 meters or 73 feet wide and rises to 380 meters (1,247 feet) with 74 floors plus five cellars. The tower will have 131 units with a mixture of apartments of 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedrooms.
While the main developers of the project are of course Muraba, the project is a collaboration between Muraba and RCR Arquitektes and WSP and Arup. According to the Dubai Land Department, it has an estimated value of 775,783,000 DHS (211.2 million dollars).
The origins of the design …
The design is inspired by Arabic houses and will be an extremely exclusive address in the heart of Dubai, which offers full privacy and connection with nature – lush gardens, pure water and private vegetation. The apartments are available as increased garden villas with lush terraces.
The facade of the building may be the highlight of the structure, the free natural air and a reduced dependence on artificial climate systems with Islamic Mashabiyaa-inspired screening enabled screens that protect the balcony of the Arabic houses and protect protection against the sun, while they protect the private sphere inside the house umbrella.

Essentially, the building is protected by a movable stainless steel network facade inspired by customs and traditions and offers a breathtaking mix of contemporary and traditional, old and new ones, the past and the present. The facade enables residents to control the degree of visibility internally and outwards.
The amenities of the tower, which is reserved exclusively to the residents, include an underground wellness spa, a restaurant and a private cinema as well as courtyards with lush green, shady seats and pools.
The units will start at 18 million DHS, and the estimated final date for the project is December 2028. Check out this room for further updates …
