Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation hosts public meeting for design changes at Foster Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) — The Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Department says it will hold a public meeting later this month to discuss possible design concepts for the new Foster Park entrance.

Officials say the meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 29, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Sears Pavilion on Bluffton Road.

They say the meeting will not only address infrastructure and maintenance needs following the progress of the Three Rivers Protection and Overflow Reduction Tunnel, but also recreational facilities, landscape changes and trail expansion.

According to department heads, the planning process is expected to be completed in summer 2025.
