The full building permit is obtained from the Warrington Borough Council for the proposed demolition of existing garages and its replacement by a one-person apartment.
This applies to garages on land at the end of Sycamore Crescent in Hollins Green.
Plans indicate: “Sycamore crescent consists of a U-shaped road that is divided with a small green space and two trees.
“The location is currently occupied by four garages, which consist of a mixture of concrete and brick walls with felt and corrugated roofs.
“The garages are in a state of decay, and the location is unattractive overall, with objects in the open space near the street being left out.
“The gravel finish in the open space is full of weeds and the bundling of the rainwater.
“The proposed development to provide a unique apartment with a bedroom will improve the aesthetics of the location.
“The new apartment is positioned on the back of the site to enable parking spaces in the field, which is not granted to the other apartments on Sycamore Crescent.
“By providing off-road parking spaces, we minimize the effects of the project on the adjacent households.”
