Rich colors can turn their rooms and twist a room from cool and cold too warm and comfortably in a very short time. You can be dramatic, yes, but as with most colors there are shades that are good at the beginning when you enter rich colors for the first time.
From earthy plaster pink to plums and forest green, there is a large selection that gives every room depth and works with every style. In the following we are looking for ways of how you can decorate with rich, warm space colors to create rooms that are full of depth and interest without completely overwhelming the room.
1. Integrate a rich green with a mural

“In order to achieve a luxurious, rich green look, you should consider a wallpaper with deep emerald or forest green tones as a statement,” Jamie Watkins, co-founder of Divine Savages.
It is certainly a great option, the variety of green colors within the opulent design together with the green Velvet curtains and ancient mahogany furniture really create a space that is decadent and rich.
What can you look like this work? “Balance is the key,” says Jamie. »If the wallpaper is fat and detailed, keep the surrounding walls neutral or for a color -used effect. If you opt for a rich green as an accent, you can layer the color in the color through furniture and accessories. Brass or antique gold accents can further increase the opulence. '
2. Decide on an earthy brown

Decorating with Brown is currently a big color trend, and it doesn't always have to be a dark and dramatic choice. Choose for a pale but rich attitude of the shadow, with a lot of pink pigment to choose the drama, but keep all of these warmth.
'Rich, earthy brown are so cozy and, as colors that are plentiful in nature, will never go out of fashion. They are easy to record in every scheme, and Brown is a great option for the color wet, ”says Francesca Wezel, founder of Francesca's colors. “A room can be warm, calming and relaxing – it is definitely one of my favorite colors.”
It also fits well with other colors, depending on the appearance that you want to create. Combine yourself with black for a more modern look or a layered layer with other neutral when you are more soft and rustic.

Deep Reds are an ideal candidate for colors that get soaked in a rich color.
Ruth Mottershead, Creative Director at Little Greene, explains why you are a good choice for a dramatic look. Perfect for rooms in which you want to create a feeling of comfort, such as living room, dining room or bedroom. '
And if you want to follow the colored wet trend that does not show any signs of deposits, you can use one or more red wines that have the same tone. “Combine Reds in a” twice soaked “scheme with other colors that include red oxide, this could include other red colors such as deep plums, burgundy colored colors or steamed red,” suggests Ruth.
To add a little lightness, choose a neutral for your woodwork instead of a crispy white that may feel a bit too bright.
4. Add sunshine with turmeric

Decorating with yellow is a good choice for a rich color scheme, but you have to select the right color. A deeper shadow with a hint of red or orange gives it a certain depth, so it is more of a turmeric color than sunshine yellow.
A light yellow does not work, it must have a force. It is a great color to expand a room that feels a little cold during the day. The Dutch Orange No. W76 by Farrow & Ball is the perfect example of a rich yellow tone, a clean, almost orange, almost orange, dark corners and at the same time warmth.
5. Use Plum as an accent

If you want to deal with rich colors a little before you hug it completely, you should use it as an accent color instead.
A beautiful warm plum shadow was used here on the window and frame. Hollie Velten-Latrell, founder and Principal of Spaces by Hollie Velten, explains her thinking process behind this design of powder room: “We wanted to decide the bright glass and lyrical Morris wallpaper with a deep plum earth and brinjal from Farrow and Ball. Deep accents are best suited for us as anchoring accents and define and earth and earth a cacophonic environment in trims like windows and baseboards. '
If you have a beautiful detailed area like a deep window bar, it is worth making a feature of it. Hollie adds: “Another way to connect these thick colors is to layer heavy natural materials such as marble and darker wooden tones that can provide another more important component.”

Cool a bedroom that gets a lot of sun with an emerald green green that is rich but has a blue tone.
It will feel comfortable and yet sophisticated and play it with an Inky blue headboard and a crispy white bed linen. Add heat with rich wood accessories – pale blonde is too pale, search for acacia wood, mahogany or walnut.
It is difficult to know which colors fit with dark green, but we love Rouge Pink, Nav, Y and White.
7. Team Dark Orange with chocolate

We love this combination, it is enriching and warms at the same time like a beautiful bitter chocolate with a deep rich orange.
Fat prints powder rooms are a great space with which you can take fewer wallpaper and painting so that you can really get wild with your choices! We asked Tim Walters, managing director of George Spencer Designs for his thoughts about this breathtaking space, said: “Fold -by -way patterns and rich colors can transform a room into a stylish room full of personality. One way to make a brave wallpaper less overwhelming is to perform it with a neutral color such as cream or white. This white marble pool is a perfect example of this, and the result is fantastic – it looks so abundant and elegant. '
8. Get rich tones with materials

We mentioned color and wallpaper, but there are other ways to give your pattern of wealth.
“To create an interior that feels rich, stylish and above all comfortable, it is important if you use deeply tinted colors to take materiality into account. A deep color color can look quite flat, while a richly sorted curtain or a sofa simply feels luxurious due to its structural deep, ”says James Gomez, co -founder of Yarn Collective.
“When I use deeper shades, I personally prefer to create a palette that varies in the sound with a few deep and light neutral to earth. Inclusion of wood by wall paneling and furniture further increases every deep tone and creates a room that is both rich and warm. “

If you want to combine two important, rich colors together, you must have a small plan that you want to have there so you can make sure that you look directly into the room and do not compete.
Pereen d'Avoine, founder of Russian at Fish, explains: “Decorating with rich colors requires a thoughtful balance to avoid that the space is overwhelmed. Here, deep blue -green walls create a dramatic backdrop with soft furniture and accessories in complementary tones – such as the magenta and cream add vitality. '
Adding a decorative element to a scheme can help more than a rich color work in a room. PREEN adds: “It can feel overwhelming to add patterns and brave color, but the decision for accessories that combine the colors selected in larger furniture articles and walls can create harmony as a whole.”
Although it is slightly discouraging to decorate with rich colors, you improve your space, you do not have to dive into dark colors immediately. Instead, you can first dip your toe with lighter shadows or only pick up with accents. The result will be a cozy and coconving room that is both timeless and trendy.
