The grants are open to the environment for volunteer groups and networks, including land builders and networks, friend groups, nature conservation administration networks, management committees, Coastcare groups and Aborigines groups.
Project grants of up to $ 20,000 are available for projects on site and community formation to improve the natural environment, including local vegetation and wildlife, waterways and soils.
Support subsidies of up to 500 US dollars are available to support the administrative and operating costs of groups and networks.
The Victorian government has been investing over the Victorian Landcare Grants Program since 2000 to support the conservation efforts and to support the Victorians to protect the state, waterways and wild animals of the state.
