Waukesha-Paul Farrow, manager of Waukesha County, submitted the plan of 2026–2030 to the County Board of Supervisors, which describes important investments in the infrastructure to improve public security, transport and quality of life. The board is expected to vote on the proposal during its meeting on October 28th.
“With the Courthouse project, which completed itself in 2027, the capital plan from 2026–2030 is on the infrastructure to which our community is going. From motorways and transport corridors to district facilities, we strive to build a safe and flourishing environment that increases the taxpayer, increases public security, and the growth in the growth County.
Key highlights of the plan
■ Airport -upgrades: For 2027, a new building for maintenance and snow removal is planned at County Airport. The project is financed by state and federal dollars $ 95%.
■ Renovation of court buildings and institutions: The second phase of the court building will continue in 2026. The conclusion in 2027 is expected. Additional funds are planned for roof replacement in the district facilities such as the mental health center, the juvenile center and the district prison.
■ Transport projects: The district will advance the work on several district roads for district roads, including: Moorland Road, CTH F in Pewaukee/Waukesha and CTH K in Lisbon, Sussex, Brookfield and Menomonee Falls.
The design phases are planned for 2026-2027, whereby the goals of improving security, reducing the congestion and promoting economic development are planned.
■ Park and leisure improvements: The projects include roof replacement in parks, infrastructure updates in the Naga-Waukee was memorial and in the golf courses in moor downs as well as phase V development of the Lake Country Trail.
■ Rescue services Upgrades: Important improvements in the communication center and radio services, including the replacement of telephone systems and radio upgrades for public security, to better support the modern emergency processes.
■ Technology and elections: An upgrade of the strategic electoral system is planned to ensure a consistency in the entire district. The financing begins in 2028 with the implementation in 2029.
