BIM – -based architectural job captain
Bowker Studio is a small design architecture practice with design and university in Los Angeles, California. We work with a number of customers and our work consists of industrial design projects, facade systems, alternative construction work, private apartments and commercial projects. The projects also included art installations, performance and theater installations, furniture and alternative living spaces.
We have a studio-like atmosphere in which individuals can concentrate, inspire and learn. We are looking for a motivated architectural job captain with a focus on BIM -based projects and with a background in parameter and arithmetic design.
General requirements
- Completion of Barch or March
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in an architecture office. Prefer 4-10 years.
- Organized, precise and attentive to details
- Large oral, written and graphic communication skills
- Self -motivated and enjoys a collaborative team environment
- Flexible and rounded to meet changing schedules, project requirements and appointments
- Detailed and self -motivated, with a knowledge of construction agents and methods
- Required construction documents and contract management phase.
- Project management experience preferred
- Knowledge in Archicad (preferred) and/or Revit, rhino, grasshopper
- Knowledge of digital production means and methods
- Strong interest and experience in parametric design and tools
- Experience in the creation of design details
Main tasks
A candidate should show an excellence in a BIM platform and construction document supervision for complex projects.
The main tasks for this position are:
- Develop detailed BIM models for design and building documents
- Develop and maintain BIM standards, templates and libraries across projects
- BIM LEATER in BIM implementation and support staff during ongoing training courses
- In-house training and production teaching materials
- Implement materials and technical details
- Create high -quality building documents
- Orchestrate internal teams for complex projects
- Approval and coordination of the agency if necessary
- Provision of architectural quality control for symbols
