In July 2022, Azra Tech applied its biozid-free, ultra-less fuselage shifting system to the Neptune Aegli in Odessos Shipyard in Bulgaria. Based on proprietary nano technology and supported by the Blue Race Performance guarantee, the system is intended to improve fuel efficiency and reduce the environmental effects.
In more than 36 months of continuous operation in the European ports, Azra Tech reports that the coating achieves considerable fuel savings and CO2 emission reductions and exceeds the original expectations. During an intermediate examination in the Lisnave/Setubal shipyard, data showed that the surface roughness of the fuselage remained exceptionally low-and an important indicator of long-term durability and performance. This innovative solution is introduced in the Greek and Omani markets about Green Navis, the exclusive representative of Azra Tech in these regions. The coating is fully aligned with the IMO regulations and contributes to several sustainable development goals of the United Nations, including SDG 14 -under water -because it does not contain biocides or active ingredients that could harm the lifespan of the sea.
