The Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) In cooperation with the International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Suktion (ISPRS) will organize the international conference on the “Allocation of the future of sustainable landscapes: Geospatial Innovations for People, Places and Practices” on the Awantipora Campus (Campus I).
The conference is opened by Javid Ahmad, the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj. Leading scientists, political decision -makers, industry experts and young researchers will bring together to investigate how geospatial technologies such as GIS, remote sensing, artificial intelligence, IoT and big data can advance sustainable landscape management.

Prof. Shakil Romshoo, Vice Chancellor of Iust, emphasized its importance and said: “This conference is an important milestone in the positioning of IUSTS in the foreground of the geospatial innovations.
