The Philadelphia Flower Show, sponsored by the Philadelphia Horticultural Society (PHS), which was found in the Pennsylvania Convention Center from March 1 to 9, was discussed as “Garden of Tomorrow”.

This year's show provides for the future of horticulture, in which the timeless beauty and human innovation of nature come together to promote a sustainable planet. “Garden of Tomorrow” invites visitors to think about the developing relationship between people, plants and the development of the garden.

As a signature Gardening Show of the nation for almost 200 years, the flower exhibition is drawing visitors and exhibitors from all over the region and beyond. This year the Philadelphia candidates ended strongly and took home the medals of phs gold, silver and bronze.

The Ambler and Philadelphia locations of Temple University were recognized for their educational exhibition “Considerations for regeneration: an artistic reaction to our changing environment”. Junior Landscape Architecture Majors Sophia Downs and Justin Border, from Temple's Ambler Campus, shared their overview of their attitude to “Garden of Tomorrow”. Instead of achieving a more futuristic approach, the students of the temple focused on using the resources already available.
