Red Wings ask the fans to coordinate the Center Ice Design for the Centennial season

(Wxyz)-A day after the unveiling of the logo for the centennial celebration, the team asks the fans to choose the Center Ice Design for the 2025-26 season.

The two options are either the centennial logo with a red line with the “Cougar D” logo or the same design, but also the text of the old school “Hockeytown”, which was on the ice in the Joe Louis Arena.

Fans can vote here for their favorite option.

Red wings reveal the centennial logo before the 100th celebration

The logo has the legendary impact wheel from 1934 as part of “100” with other aspects of the classic logo and colors.

According to the team, the “1” and “0” of the Centennial logo are designed in such a way that they reflect the curves and lines of the classic logo.

The colors are the red wings red and vintage white.

The team said that the “Cougar D” was re -drawn and introduced as a secondary brand. It was originally worn as Detroit Cougar in 1926-27 during the team's opening season.

“The new brand of the past and present the roots of the franchise with a crispy, ERA spaning design of the franchise,” said the team.
