Florence – The Beautifier of the City of Florence and the tree commission will organize the 28th annual conference for the municipal forestry and horticulture. Cover a variety of sustainability topics, including the management of local plants and trees, the importance of bees, herbal forces, bird observations, common habitat for landscape design and much more.

The conference takes place in the Cross Point Church of Christ in Florence. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the conference starts at 8:45 a.m. Further training units

(CEUS) will be available for teachers at the UNA education and research center.

This year's conference was postponed from October to March to take part in the beginning of the vegetation period and to start the provider plans. In addition to the informative meetings, the participants have the opportunity to win valuable door prices and explore ideas and products from local providers.

The lunch for registered participants is made available and prepared on site by the Lauderdale County Cattleman's Association.

“Everyone who takes the garden, the garden or outdoors outdoors in the knowledge divided at this conference,” says Kristin Seabol, chairman of the Florence Schönungspassen. “This is a great opportunity to connect with like -minded people and at the same time learn sustainable practices that can benefit our environment.”

Registration is now open online at https://florenenceal.org/28th-annual-urban-forestry-horticulture-conference/, where the participants can also find a printable registration form for mailing. The registration costs are 50 US dollars
