Just in time for a stormy day in Disney's Hollywood studios, the latest, extended seating near Woody's lunch box is now open to guests.

We have been following the lack of covered shadow areas in Toy Story Land for over three years. The work first began adding new roof structures to the seating area of Woodys Lunchbox in early 2022. Despite the start date 2022, the progress in the structures was extremely slow and the first new roof was only opened to the guests in April. Since then, the work on a new building has also taken place alongside the Toy Story Mania! End the queue.
A second section of newly covered seats was opened at the beginning of this month. Now, on May 31, the entire front half of the new roof structure is now open.
All previous construction walls that can be seen during our last updates were removed from the front half of the seating area. The room has now been filled with new tables and chairs in bright colors to correspond to the rest of the country.
As we saw with the first structure, the roofs are all covered with blue plastic plates that should look like they were built from building toys.
The gardens and edges of the structures are blocked with multicolored railings, which also look like a toy set. Some garbage cans in green, blue and yellow were placed nearby when guests end their meals at the tables.
There is a section with shorter tables that correspond to the height of the nearby chairs, and a section of larger tables that would be optimal for standing.
After the construction walls have been removed, some of the other tables that are not covered by the structures are shaded with green umbrellas. The umbrellas were already present near Woody's lunch box, but now that the sidewalk is larger, there seems to be more.
The blue roofs have built-in lights in the holes in the building-toy style. The yellow light bulbs do not spend much light during the day, but they help to keep this outdoor area illuminated at night.
The section closer to the Toy Story Mania! The queue and the new building are still wrapped in green building walls. At the beginning of May, Disney submitted a new building permit for the general area of Toy Story Mania! It was assumed that it was the continued seat and queue work. This approval only expires in September 2025.
