SANTA MONICA, Calif. – The WestEdge Design Fair, a contemporary design trade show on the West Coast, returned to Barker Hangar in Santa Monica for its ninth edition in late November 2024. The trade fair presented a curated selection of national and international manufacturers as well as independent designers and manufacturers.
During the three-day event, WestEdge welcomed 9,300 guests, 73% of whom were design industry professionals.
“The growth of the WestEdge platform, from adding new brands to expanding industry partner engagement year over year, has been incredibly rewarding,” said event co-founder Megal Reilly. “The enthusiasm of the design community, both locally in Los Angeles and nationally and even globally, motivates us to innovate each year and takes the event to new horizons.”
In addition to the IIDA/WestEdge Design Fair Product and Booth Awards, the event featured panel discussions that will be available as a podcast series in January 2025.
Other highlights were:
- Made:Modern presents independent designers, manufacturers and artists with unique furniture, lighting and accessories.
- WestEdge Xteriors, design vignettes for outdoor living, featured patio furniture, kitchens and grill activations.
- Connoisseurs' Club, a high-quality hospitality lounge and demonstration kitchen.
