The City of Warsaw, Warsaw Stormwater Utility, Clean Waters Partnership and Watershed Foundation are co-hosting a free “Working Toward Sustainable Cities” workshop on February 20 at 9 a.m. at the Zimmer-Biomet Center Lake Pavilion.
This workshop will explore innovative solutions for creating environmentally friendly urban spaces.
During the workshop, participants will have the opportunity to network with like-minded people and learn from experts in the field. According to a city press release, participants will leave with increased knowledge about improving cities to make them more sustainable for future generations.
Speakers include WSP Global and the City of Warsaw Engineering Department.
This workshop is aimed at anyone who develops land, plans or designs urban spaces, manages infrastructure and development projects, advises on environmental and sustainability issues, owns or manages a business or industrial facility, installs landscapes or is simply interested in the topic of green infrastructure .
