Two tower proposal in Sydney's chatwood on exhibition

A significant condition Development application that suggests the establishment of two residential towers in Chatswood, Sydney, is on the public exhibition.

The application suggests the construction of two residential towers that rise on 33 floors, and the other up to 23, in the 38–42 Anderson Street, in the 3 Mcintosh Street and in the 2 -day road. In total, they would accommodate 258 apartments, including 56, which were assigned for affordable apartments.

Carter Williamson Architects with land and form landscape architecture studio won an invited design competition for the project in 2024. While the profit scheme has been revised since then – in particular a simplification of the facade materials – the character of the original design was maintained by a similar massing and color palette.

The design concept is inspired by a mature angora tree, around which the development is and from which it has its name (the Angora). The outer color palette refers to the unmistakable pink bark of the tree.

The larger of the towers was strategically located along the Anderson Street to optimize the view of the city in the south and to expand the existing urban street wall.

According to the plans, the larger of the towers along the Anderson Street was strategically located in order to optimize the view of the city in the south and to expand the existing urban street wall. A non -resident brick podium that connects the towers offers commercial and retail offers at the base and joint open rooms.

Each tower has a special accommodation, accompanied by a non -resident podium in the Day Street.

The application for public exhibition until June 19, 2025.
