The US authorities have arrested a man that they say that he stood or “implied” a friend of the family that he killed the right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
The suspect was identified as Tyler Robinson, a 22-year-old man from Utah.
“We got it,” said the governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, to a press conference.
Mr. Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday evening, about 33 hours after Mr. Kirk was spoken at a university in Utah, FBI director Kash Patel said.

The official news of the arrest came shortly after US President Donald Trump used a television appearance to say that he had “a high level of security”. The murderer was in custody.
“I hope he gets the death penalty,” Trump told Fox News.
The authorities later said that messages were inscribed in ball sleeves that were found with the rifle, which was believed to be the murder weapon.
One of the inscriptions said: “Hey fascist, catch!”
Another said: “If you read this, you are gay lmao”.
One third said: “Oh, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Bella Ciao, Ciao”, a probable indication of an anti -fascist Italian folk song.

The widow of Mr. Kirk, Erika Kirk, made her first public comments since his death in a live broadcast on the social media of Turning Point USA, Mr. Kirk's organization.
“I would like to thank the millions of people who have shown her love for Charlie here in Phoenix, all over America and worldwide,” she said in the news on Friday evening, the local time.
“Charlie loved life. He loved his life, he loved America, he loved nature what helped him bring him closer and closer to God.

Father “convinces” suspects to give up themselves
Mr. Trump said that he had been informed of a minister and the suspect's father was involved in entering him.
“The father convinced the son: 'This is',” said Trump.
Mr. Robinson's father recognized him from CCTV pictures published by the FBI and encouraged his son to give himself to himself, said a source of prosecution of the Associated Press.
His father then contacted a youth pastor who helped Mr. Robinson to eliminate himself.

Mr. Cox told reporters that Mr. Robinson contacted a friend of the family and admitted or “implied that he had committed the incident”.
Mr. Robinson has not yet been officially charged. However, an affidavit shows that he was arrested for severe murder, crimes of a firearm, which, according to the news agency, causes serious injuries and disabled the judiciary.
Jeff Gray, lawyer of Utah County, plans to submit formal charges next Tuesday, his office confirmed the ABC.
Relatives tell conversations for investigators
A family member informed the authorities that Mr. Robinson had become more political in recent years and had spoken about Mr. Kirk in a derogatory way, said Cox.
“The family member recently referred to an incident in which Robinson came to dinner before September 10th,” he said.
“In conversation with another family member, Robinson mentioned that Charlie Kirk came to UVU [Utah Valley University].
“The family member also said that Kirk was full of hatred and spread of hate.”
The affidavit that was submitted to a court in Utah also says that the investigators spoke to Mr. Robinson's current or former roommate.
The roommate showed the investigative messages in which Mr. Robinson spoke about getting a rifle from a drop point and then putting it in a bush wrapped in a towel, the document says.
Social media contributions punished
In the meantime, the authorities have the punishment of government officials and employees for public services that have expressed negative opinions on Mr. Kirk Online.
A Secret Service Agent was brought on vacation and, after the letter on Facebook, revoked his security approval that Mr. Kirk spit out “Hass and racism on his show”, according to Fox News.
A teacher in Florida was suspended and three more were examined about comments that they made about Mr. Kirk on their personal social media accounts, reported Florida Public Radio.

The alleged murder weapon, a bolt action rifle, was found in an area in which the murderer had fled on Thursday.
Mr. Kirk was shot at the university a day earlier, which the authorities described as a political murder.
He was on campus as part of a national tour of the universities to have public debates with progressive students.
Recorded video, which was recorded shortly after the shootout, showed a person who ran over the roof of a campus building.
The shootout of Mr. Kirk has followed a number of apparently politically motivated attacks in the United States, including obvious attempts at assassination against Mr. Trump last year.
This also includes the shootings of two democratic politicians in Minnesota and their spouse in June, an arson attack on the home of the democratic governor of Pennsylvania, Josh Shapiro, and the hammer attack from 2022 on the husband of the democratic House spokesman Nancy Pelosi.
