The Visual Game and Media Design course at the Royal Danish Academy supports students in developing game design and motion graphics skills and offers the opportunity to work on projects with industry experts and colleagues at local schools in Denmark.
Visual Game and Media Design is an intensive two-year program for students ready to immerse themselves in the creative world of game design, visual media, visual experiences and playful interactions.
You combine practical work in the areas of digital games, animation, motion graphics and visual design with cutting-edge approaches to the design of game and story worlds.
Students learn to generate bold game ideas and immersive worlds, develop creative processes and explore business models. All this in collaboration with customers and users from across the visual industry.
During your studies, you will continually combine the practical creation of digital games, animations, motion graphics and visual designs with innovative conceptual approaches to game design and storyworld design.
The Royal Danish Academy is a leader in architecture, design and conservation in Scandinavia. It is centrally located in Copenhagen.
