Lacquer plaster

Inspired by the French modernist artist and designer Armand Albert Rateau, the designer Willem Racké became a decorative mural about plaster hand -painted. A combination of wall applications that we didn't know we needed until now!
Half -mond islands

Kitchen islands have long been a topic of the debate – in which form you should be, which materials work best or whether you need one at all. Ultimately, it depends on what suits your lifestyle and space. But Katie Monkhouse Interior Architecture has us firmly on the team half moon. The curved edge of her island, which elegantly stretched over a brass from Maxwell Austweil Studio, brings with it a relaxed, inviting atmosphere – perfect to pull up and chat up a chair while the cook works her magic.

Exaggerated tailor -made pieces

The most show-stop piece in the entire shop window was probably the parametric desk, which filled the offices by TRG Architecture + interior design. The tailor -made design by Dave Marcullier Woodworks includes layered wooden discs that flow seamlessly from the wall to work. So if you ever wanted a piece of furniture that looks like it has come directly from a film set, your chance is now.
Painted mill

In Julie Rootes Interiors, who is inspired by the Morocccan, there is a lot to mix, but a detail that offers a simple snack is the decorative painting on the mill. Rootes commissioned the artist Eva-Lena Rehnmark to overtake the entrance to the room and was inspired by a tile pattern that she discovered on her travels.

Do not match doors

Another design element that we loved at the show case was the deliberate mix of door shapes, as was illustrated in the Lauren Berry interior design area. Think of classic rectangular frames next to soft, elegant arches. This playful contrast ensures visual interest and a feeling of architectural stratification, which means that the bathroom area feels deliberately and dynamically. Arches bring a touch of romance and old charm, while standard forms keep things ground and modern. If the contrast is used thoughtfully in the same room, it feels more artistic than by chance.
Instruction adjustment

Designer Heather Bernstein from HKB interior design creates a look to trigger creativity and promote young ideas, and may have unlocked the next big trend. While statement ceilings are nothing new, it is the dream of a model lover to meet them to the overhead lamp of the room. We call it “Instructions Matching”. The ceiling of the room of this boy is adapted seamlessly with embroidered elements that bring depth and texture into design by Elan Evans, web scenes, objects, collector's pieces, constellations and silly creatures.

Moody washrooms

Move around, Powder Room – Castellanos Interiors costs the washroom that is the jewelry box of the house. In 6990 caviar from Sherwin-Williams and combined with Mcintyre, thin brick tiles in the same color. This washroom is with (we say we say) sex appell. Ended with touches that pop like works of art by Bastiaan Woudt and Brass lights and hardware, and lasts the concept of linen from tedious to luxurious.
Translucent islands

In the roof oasis of JKA Design – where Glam meets the 1970s western boast – every detail is dialed out, but an outstanding function is the unexpected island that separates the lounge from the bar. The team opted for a bold and innovative material on the usual suspects such as marble or wood: translucent glass tiles. The result is a sculptural heart that feels both modern and ethereal and enables light to assert itself and keep the room open and airy. It is a new view of the island material that proves that functional elements can still be starter.

Behind illuminated marble

Regardless of whether you love or hate it, we see how more and more marble marble appears in designer projects. TRG Architecture + interior design chose the perfect application by installing it in a hidden bar area. It is the perfect room to confuse a post-work drink.
Three -dimensional textiles

Apart from the marble wall tap and the “Regentrop” surface in the shower, a tender detail that she faces, our attention in the bathroom of Sabah Mansor design excitedly excited. The floral design of the tailor-made Roman shadow is brought to life in the form of 3D decorations from silk organza, which are sewn by hand by hand on the linen floor. Since brands like La La Curio lead the indictment in this trend with its beautiful hand -delayed back wallpapers and fabrics, we see that this can be seen in many other interiors.
