Alicia and her husband Aaron still remember the day when they were first entered by 34 Austral Terrace, Malvern, and met by his beauty.
“When we went through the long hallway, we fell in love with the black steel frame windows that look into the garden and pool area,” says Alicia.
“The modern turn was just so beautiful and striking for us.”
They moved to the sandstone villa in the sandstone villa of the century in 2017.
According to Alicia, the place was another main draw card.
“We were very lucky to be on the road terrace because it is a wide dead end,” says Alicia.
“The children learned to drive on the street with their bicycles, and they skateboard and drive from the front with other children on the street.
“We play tennis on the street and it was really fun. We go pretty much every day to the Providore and Nettle & Knett (bakery) for coffee. “
With a modern expansion, which was completed by the previous owners, Alicia and Aaron assumed that it had not much to do with regard to their own renovation work.
However, a revision of the bathrooms soon turned into an extensive cosmetic update of the entire house.
“We carried out renovation in 2018 to highlight the things we love and to make them our own – to bring our own touch to the place,” says Alicia.
“It brought the house to a whole new level and we love it.”
The couple entered Michelle Attard for the interiors, the “absolute miracle”.
Alicia says they wanted to create a relaxing home with high -quality fittings and equipment.
Another priority was to give the living space in the back of the house heat, with Chevron floors and a striking black cuisine.
The entrance to the house leads into a wide hallway, two of the four bedrooms of the apartment in the apartment to the left and right.
The hallway leads the Master Suite with a spacious bathroom and a walk -in wardrobe as well as the fourth bedroom and a bathroom.
If you enter the open kitchen, the dining and living area, there is also another bathroom, the laundry and the butler pantry.
The kitchen has antique leather benchtops, a breakfast bar, a hanging trailer, an integrated refrigerator and freezer as well as the first -class devices.
Large framed windows and doors with state -high steel offer a view of the entertainment area and the outdoor kitchen as well as the swimming pool.
“It was incredible to have the pool so close to the back of the house because the children don't have to go far to jump in while we still have full eyesight on it,” says Alicia.
For nature, the couple used the landscape architect Nathan Burkett, the floating seating of the concrete bank and a foreign body with lights of the cat's arbor.
Alicia says her favorite aspect of the house is the entrance to the rear living space, with the natural northern light that comes in.
“I love to sit at the dining table in the winter sun and they just don't want to get up and move – it is so beautiful that sitting and taking everything,” she says.
But after eight years, Alicia and Aaron decided to move to a larger home to accommodate their growing children.
“We are ready for the big parties that the children will have in their teenage years, and we now want our home forever,” she says.
Alicia says she will miss the low maintenance of the property, the local café and her friends on the street.
“We were so lucky to have beautiful neighbors on both sides and we will really miss them.”
